Science and art

I think scientific knowledge helps the artist emphasize meaningful details, avoid misrepresentation and communicate clearly with both scientific and general audiences. It also adds depth to the work: the more you understand a plant’s ecology or function, the more intentional and truthful your composition becomes. In this way, science doesn’t limit the art, it enriches it.

I love this Zoe. I absolutely agree, especially with the idea of art adding depth, intention, and truthfulness to the composition. Well said!!!
