Emotional intelligence (EQ) helps community garden leaders navigate interpersonal dynamics, build trust, and foster collaboration, while the Adversity Quotient (AQ) equips them with tools to stay resilient and address challenges like limited funding or unpredictable weather. In Section M2.3, you will explore the science of resilience and the AQ principles—Control, Ownership, Reach, and Endurance— to enhance your capacity to manage challenges, maintain focus and motivation in difficult situations, and problem-solve while inspiring others to stay committed to the garden's goals.
