At The Manse Garden, all are welcome though anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult and we ask that companion animals be left at home to avoid disturbance to crops and sensitive ecosystem. This has helped establish an open learning environment. We do our best to find tasks appropriate for each individual and allow them to simply observe and be present if they wish. That said, since all garden beds and harvests are shared, there is a future risk of concern over "free loading" if frequent participants become dissatisfied over needing to share harvests with infrequent participants.
