Hello Everyone,
My name is Margaret Maruschak from Hopewell Junction. I started gardening when I inherited a lot of plants when I moved into my home about 30 years ago. In the past few years I expanded into porch containers and raised beds for mostly herbs. Not only are fresh herbs great for cooking, but I also like to dry them and give them as gifts.
I have several friends and acquaintances who are Master Gardeners and they highly recommended the program. Having been involved in the Cornell Master Naturalists, I knew I would learn a lot with the Gardener program.
I also love the native plant movement and am growing lots of natives for my gardens.
