2.1 Assignment 1: The Identity Pie Chart – Leadership Qualities
The Identity Pie Chart – Leadership Qualities

Leadership qualities are an integral part of one's identity, influencing how challenges are approached, interactions are managed, and decisions are made. Understanding which skills are instinctual and which ones should be developed, can help one maximize leadership potential. Create a pie chart, where each slice represents a leadership quality that you possess. As you complete your pie chart:
Think about who you are as a person and how you behave as a leader. What characteristics make you a strong leader? What skills do you use in your leadership role?
Strive for six slices. Each slice of the pie chart should identify a characteristic that has some importance to your self-concept and your leadership persona. Indicate the usefulness of each characteristic is by the size of the slice of pie that you assign to it.
Reflect on the following questions after completing the pie chart: Which of your leadership qualities is most useful in your role as a garden leader? Which qualities do you wish to develop to become a better garden leader, and why?
