Agricultural Supervisory Leadership (ASL)

ASL106 | Ethics and Employment Regulations. As agricultural labor laws evolve and workplace expectations grow, understanding employment regulations and ethical leadership is more critical than ever for farm managers and owners. Implement responsible and ethical labor practices and understand why this matters for agriculture. Recognize and prevent sexual harassment. Understand and follow minimum wage and overtime laws. Implement Equal Employment Opportunity laws to prevent discrimination and harassment. Handle employee discipline and termination.

Offered as part of Cornell Agricultural Workforce Development’s Agricultural Supervisory Leadership certificate program, this six-week online course is designed for both new and experienced farm managers and owners.
