Gestión del desempeño le enseña el entendimiento, las habilidades, las herramientas y la práctica para crear un sistema que mejore el rendimiento y haga que las personas que supervisa se sientan más satisfechas con su trabajo. Este curso virtual de seis semanas es parte del programa de Certificado de Liderazgo de Supervisión Agrícola de Cornell. Este curso está diseñado tanto para aquellos que están comenzando en el liderazgo como para los que cuentan con muchos años de experiencia.

ASL101 | Transition to Supervisor is the first course in Cornell Agricultural Workforce Development’s Agricultural Supervisory Leadership certificate program. This six-week online course will help new and experienced managers make the difficult, but critical, transition from individual performer to supervisor. This six-week online course is part of Cornell Agricultural Workforce Development’s Agricultural Supervisory Leadership certificate program. It is appropriate for new and experienced farm managers.

AEM 101 | Me and My Farm — January 2025
A 6-week course designed for Spanish-speaking agricultural workers to improve their English skills through pre-recorded video lessons, personalized live Zoom instruction, and a dedicated mentorship within their farm.

This is a beginning English course that focuses on their English pronunciation helping them to know how to say and spell out names and places in their area correctly, and understanding the mission statements, history and vision of their farm. This is a mentorship course that requires an English speaker from their farm sign up with each participant to ensure individualized success specific to each farm


AEM 101 | Yo y mi rancho — enero de 2025
Un curso de 6 semanas diseñado específicamente para trabajadores agrícolas de habla hispana para mejorar sus habilidades en inglés a través de lecciones en video pregrabadas, instrucción personalizada en vivo por Zoom y una mentoría dedicada dentro de su rancho.

Este es un curso de inglés para principiantes que se enfoca en la pronunciación, ayudando a pronunciar y deletrear los nombres y lugares de su área correctamente, así como en entender las declaraciones de misión, la historia y la visión de su rancho. Este curso de mentoría requiere que un hablante de inglés de su rancho se inscriba con cada participante para asegurar un éxito individualizado específico de cada rancho.

Learn how to recruit a candidate pool to find the right employees, and how to avoid bias and discrimination in hiring. You will also learn how to improve your interview and selection process, and how to implement a strong onboarding program.
