This video is all about the biology of vermicomposting.  It talks about the benefits of vermicomposting, especially when used as a main component in potting soil. 

The section of this video on 'Vermicompost and Plant Disease Suppression' is very technical.  It shows how the microbes associated with vermicomposting help suppress pythium, a plant disease that causes damping off in seedlings. You are not expected to learn all of the minutia, just the overall idea.
