Activity 2.2: Drainage
Read and complete Step 7 ‘Drainage’ in the Site Assessment for Gardeners workbook:
Test 4 sites in your yard for drainage using Activity 2: ‘Percolation Test for Deeper Down’ method described in the workbook. You should target areas in which you found compacted (C) or partially compacted (PC) soil from Step 6.
➡️ Mark your results with a P, M, or E for Poor, Moderate or Excessive and shade any larger areas of excessive moisture or poor draining soil with a pencil in the way that the workbook describes.
