Each week we will have the opportunity to engage with each other through our online discussion forums. This week, please introduce yourself to the instructor and to the other students in the class. Tell us a little about yourself...your work, where you are from, your hobbies and interests. What do you hope to gain from this course?
- Does your school, or the schools in your town or county have a garden-based learning program? If yes, how successful are they? What challenges have you had, if any?
- If you do not have a school garden program yet, why not? What challenges might you anticipate?
- Feel free to upload photos too! ➡️Tip: when uploading photos, keep the width of the photo no larger than 500. The photo below is 400x323.
To get the most out of our weekly forums and to keep the discussion engaging for all, please check them each week and follow these guidelines:
- Click on 'add a new discussion' at the beginning each week on Monday or Tuesday to create a new discussion thread.
- Reply to at least 2 other classmate's discussions at the beginning each week.
- Keep the discussion going by responding to anyone who posted in your original discussion thread, and respond to any posts you added to other threads.
