Please plan to arrive by 8:30 AM. All classes will begin at 9 AM and end by 3 PM, a lunch break will be included each day.
In-person classes are as follows:
- July 25th: Module 1: Fundamentals
- August 20th: Module 2: Insects & Diseases
- September 22nd: Module 3: Food Gardening
- October 17th: Module 4: Problem Solving **Guest Speaker Mike Helms will discuss Pesticide Safety** This class is very important, especially useful for Horticulture Hotline.
- November 12th: Module 5: Lawn Care, Plant Ecosystem Services and Management Strategies/Issues
- December 5th: Module 6: Starting and Sustaining Learning Gardens
Must also attend one lab session, preferably with your mentor if scheduling allows. Lab sessions are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 AM to Noon and run through the end of September.
