I'm finally taking the plunge and sharing a piece of my work on the student forum - I am interested in your thoughts. The medium is the dreaded alcohol marker pens, and while they were daunting to me, there are aspects of them I like -- the rich colors, for example, and how there is so little fiddling around with clean-up when one is done.
One of the most challenging aspects of this for me was showing the shape of the seeds that are enclosed in the pods -- getting the shading was really tough and I spent a lot of time with my blender on this. I must admit I learned a lot in the process.
