Hello! I live in Maryland near Washington DC, I've taken the 2 other botanical illustration classes and I'm excited to be back for this course. I took the other classes in summer, so it will be interesting to find new subjects in winter.
In November, I started a subject-per-month project, which will become 'a year in the garden.' I expect to continue working on that series through class assignments. I also joined a couple of local art groups and plan to start submitting illustrations to galleries, hopefully that goes well-- I'll let you know!
