I guess I jumped the gun with my question in the last student forum! The more I think about continuing on with art, the more I realize that I want to take more classes. Not to the point of a BFA, but courses similar to this, if any exist. I have even considered taking these courses again! Billy Showell has a 'school' and I enrolled in that between the watercolor course and this course just to keep practicing. It is set up as 'follow along tutorials'. The follow along tutorials are nice but I have found that the best way for me to learn from those is to have a similar subject that I paint first, then do the tutorial, then practice the techniques one , or a few times, on my own. She has nice tips on technique and color and I also like the brushes she sells. They are inexpensive and hold water and a point nicely. I have not asked for any feedback from her so I am not sure if that is an option.
Bethany, Carol, and Zoe, I have been amazed by what you have created and I hope you continue on.
