Hi everybody,
I don't normally jump into the forum, since it's for you all to get to know each other. However, I really just wanted to take a moment to welcome everyone back. I am excited about the group this summer. I think you guys know each other from previous classes, so feel free to share new information here.
I had a busy few months, helping my sister after surgery. Now, I am back at home and taking care of our two rambunctious dogs and getting back into painting. I am still working in egg tempera. This summer, I am taking a course in which we use Audubon's work as our inspiration for compositions and a printmaking course. I also still do iconography. I haven't written any new icons lately, having to complete some I put away for a while.
I am in the process of finishing up a few new lessons. For the time being, I am going to house them in this class, but I will move them over to the new pilot course during the term.
