Dear cohort members -
Exciting to see the progress being made in Moodle, and on projects!
Kudos to: Brittany who was drawn as a coffee card winner from check-in responses! And Mallory who has just been named the new 4-H Program Leader in Broome County! Way to go Mallory! Additionally, Mallory has joined Melissa Spoon and will be presenting on 11/8.
Thank you to Ernie for helping to resolve the "getting on the staff site" issue some were having. CCE Suffolk is lucky to have you Ernie!
I have been reviewing your responses and your progress in the Moodle Course (this is the best way for me to understand where you are at). I am seeing a trend that those who attend work blocks are progressing steadily. Let me know if there are other things that I can do to help you. A reminder - the equation for finishing PDLC (instructions for all of this are in our shared Google Folder https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1bZ2sw_k3h8KFzsPFY653miLtdi_9T6Z4?usp=sharing (also findable in the "helpful links" section on our Moodle:
- complete topic content (check things off as you do them)
- Prepare a "one pager" + submit per instructions
- Prepare a presentation
- Sign up for a presentation time using the Google form: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CfGQklEXNUCMedGJgKMsOJMW8xB8G8fO190pRrwZ1OU/edit?usp=sharing
NEXT WEEK: I will be out of the office - a little vacation time to celebrate a cousin's wedding - and will miss the Pomodoro meetings on Thursday and Friday. I have my zoom meetings set up to be open to participants to lead - which means that if you are the first on next week - you will be "host" - if the work time is valuable - feel fee to hop on and facilitate the process - set intentions, dive in, take a short break, dive in again. I do a 45 minute, 10 minute, 45 minute timer - do what works for you!
Look for my check-in form in your e-mail on Monday :) Keep investing time in your professional development and reflecting on things you are learning.
Happy Thursday!
Celeste
