Dear cohort members -
Exciting to see the progress being made in Moodle, and on projects!
Kudos to: Chris Nadolne, CCE Suffolk for reaching Level 6 (in the leaderboard)! I've sent along a fancy nametag to you Chris :). And congrats to Scott Curatolo-Wagemann who was drawn as a coffee card winner from check-in responses on Monday!
Melissa Spoon will present her project <the development and implementation of the Learning Garden of Wayne CCE> through the lens of a program development model on November 8 at noon. I'll add this to calendars but know that you can share the registration with others as well: model https://cornell.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJcqdOiqrTosGNwYdkenmGcnkVpaDA-oxlDu#/registration
Earlier this week I heard from a couple of folks from CCE Suffolk that they could not get to the CCE Staff site: https://staff.cce.cornell.edu/ Many of the resources for our course are linked from there - good to know that there is a prob, so that we can get that resolved. In discussions with CALS IT support - sounds like it may be a firewall issue.Just a reminder - the equation for finishing PDLC (instructions for all of this are in our shared Google Folder https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1bZ2sw_k3h8KFzsPFY653miLtdi_9T6Z4?usp=sharing (also findable in the "helpful links" section on our Moodle:
- complete topic content (check things off as you do them)
- Prepare a "one pager" + submit per instructions
- Prepare a presentation
- Sign up for a presentation time using the Google form: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CfGQklEXNUCMedGJgKMsOJMW8xB8G8fO190pRrwZ1OU/edit?usp=sharing
Look for my check-in form in your e-mail on Monday :) Keep investing time in your professional development and reflecting on things you are learning.
Happy Thursday!
Celeste
