Hello all!
My name is Tree. My husband and I have been running a hobby farm/business in Vermontville for the past 5 years. We grow grow/sell all the veggies, some fruits, and chicken eggs. We have also dabbled in meat birds and nut trees. Every year we learn more and more, but there is so much to learn! I've been looking for the next educational thing to immerse myself in, so when Laura mentioned that this course would be offered a few minutes from my house I decided to sign up.
As for gardening, my favorite things are the early season planning (mapping the beds, buying new seeds, ordering compost, etc.), deigning meals/recipes around what is in season, and seeing a plant I've been trying to grow for years finally flourish (eggplant!!).
Favorite Flower: Johnny Jump Ups (Nasturtium is a close second, but I have terrible luck growing them)
Most excited to learn more about trouble shooting plant and soil issues : )
