Permaculture 1: Fundamentals WINTER 2026

In this course, all assignments must be submitted through Moodle (the platform you're using right now). Work sent by email cannot be graded.

👉 Required method: Use the slideshow template provided to you for assignments. When you finish adding your work to the template, copy the link to your slideshow and paste it into the Moodle submission box. 

To submit your assignments correctly in Moodle, follow these steps:

1. Click “Add submission.”

2. Paste your slideshow link into the text box.

3. Click “Save changes.”

4. Finally, click “Submit assignment.”

⚠️ Important: If you skip step 4, your work will stay in draft mode and will not be counted as submitted.

Practice Assignment (Week 1):
To practice using Moodle, please open your slideshow template and add:

• Three personal images of things you enjoy (pets, favorite place, activity, etc.)

• One screenshot of a Permaculture site you find online (a site you’d like to visit, or simply one you admire)

Image options:

• Take or select a photo on your camera, phone, or laptop.

• Draw by hand and photograph your sketch (be sure to use good lighting).

• Capture or save an image from the internet.

When you have finished adding these to your template, submit the link to your slideshow on Moodle following the steps above.
