Scanning and Upload Information
In this course, you will be scanning and submitting a significant number of painting exercises to the Moodle interface. We would like you to practice to ensure the technology is working well.
For this exercise, please scan and upload anything you like (could be your dinner menu, honestly, anything at all). This will ensure that your scanner is working properly, and that you are comfortable uploading, before you begin to scan and submit your art work. Please save your work as a .jpg or .pdf file so that I can open it. Remember, you may also take photographs of your work with a camera or phone.
Multiple File Uploads - IMPORTANT!
Often students wish to upload multiple files. Sometimes an assignment allows you to, and other times it does not, which is perennially frustrating to our students.
To avoid any issues with multiple file uploads, I urge you to get in the habit of scanning all your work into one PDF document -- the first page might be your notes, and the remaining pages your image scans, and so forth.
If you are challenged with an upload that does not allow multiple uploads, but you have more than one, you can always post to another location and alert me to it -- but the above mentioned process will be a much easier habit to get into.
